Description

 • The role is to project manage the routine preventative and corrective maintenance of all rotating equipment within the Rumaila field and advise on performance measures and modifications that will improve efficiency.
• Review all maintenance practices and establish clear preventive and planned maintenance routines for the variety of rotating equipment within the field.
• Ensure all maintenance routines are accurately entered into the clients CMMS system.
• Categorise all rotating equipment and ensure that the CMMS reflects accurately all makes and models and specifications of the equipment within the field.
• Familiarise the clients team with the vendors associated with all equipment’s and what support the vendors can provide.
• Create a materials list that is required to support routine and corrective maintenance and ensure this is entered into the clients CMMS system.
• Advise and mentor clients maintenance team in respect to maintaining all rotating equipment’s at peak efficiency.
• Evaluate what data is required for each item of equipment and create daily log sheets for operations to complete.
• Analyse the data provided and produce trends and graphs relating to the performance of the equipment.
• From the data gathered, make recommendations on maintenance or modifications to equipment to increase machinery reliability and availability.
• Conduct oil samples as necessary and create a sub-contract with a local lab for analysis.
• Competent in vibration analysis.
• Carry out or oversee boroscoping activities on equipment’s as necessary.
• Manage vendors and sub-contractors as necessary.
• Consider all Health, Safety and Environmental factors for each task and ensure there are formal risk assessments in place to mitigate all hazards.
• Liaise with client’s team on procedures and practices.
• Produce a full written report where a major breakdown or outage has occurred on the cause and recommendations to prevent re-occurrence.
• Ensure all work is executed to clients current and future codes, procedures and standards.
• Provide guidance to the Planning Team and Procurement Coordinator
• Compile rotating equipment detailed handovers pre / post field breaks.
• Participate in audits, inspections and safety observation tours as directed by line manager or client.
• Support the planning and issue and control of work permits
• Report all HSE incidents and advise and assist on incident investigations
• Liaise with Project Engineers on maintenance issues.
• Provide technical input in to modification work packs.
• Answer technical queries and guide personnel on maintenance and best practices
• Lead the commissioning after equipment modifications or where new equipment has been installed. 
• Advise on document control and holdings

PRINCIPAL DOCUMENT CONTROLLER
 
ECS require a Principal Document Controller to work from our Houston office. The Principal Document Controller will be working on our subsea project and they will be recruited on a Project Hire basis.

Responsibilities of Principal Document Controller
• Responsible for project document control
• Responsible for supervising/checking work of other document controllers
• Responsible for communicating project DC issues to management.

Duties
• Establish and monitor DC progress measurement systems
• Manage, register, file, and retrieve project documentation
• Manage /prepare internal and external transmittals
• Issue documents, queries and formal letters
• Track and log received and sent documentation
• Track and record communications both internally and externally
• File and maintain all electronic and hard copy files in a user friendly format
• Assist the project team with any DC related issues
• Interface with contractors on DC coordination
• Ensure that all documents are filed to reflect latest updates
• Ensure all documentation at the end of project is handed over to the client
• Review and check work carried out by other document controllers
• Ensure compliance with project plans (HSSE/QA etc.)
• Contribute to training and development of PROJECT staff

1. Scope of Responsibilities
Single point accountability for managing pipeyard/warehouse and physical handling and storage of materials.
Accountable for setting up storage and maintaining inventory system with required supply of materials for smooth operations.
2. Primary Duties
• Work closely with the planning team to ensure material items are available for annual planned construction and installation works.
• Take ownership of incoming and outgoing freight ensuring they are; as per manifest, free of overages or shortages and/or damage.
• Working in liaison with Planning Team and the COMPANY’s Material Management and Procurement Teams, ensure prescribed min/max stock levels are maintained and be aware of new items coming on to the inventory.
• Responsible for ensuring all materials and items of equipment are stored correctly, preserved to suppliers recommendation and location and stock levels recorded.
• Responsible to ensure that all items that require special storage facilities are inspected regularly to prevent damage due to climate or environmental degradation.
• Ensure requests are processed for replacement as per prescribed min/max stock levels , damaged or shelf life expiry.
• Items holding certification are re-tested as required and certification is held with the QA/AC Engineer.
• Maintain agreed min/max stock levels for tools, consumables and PPE.
• Working knowledge of dangerous goods transportation regulations.
• Perform periodical stock inventory check of materials stored in the pipeyard/warehouse and all external locations.
• Responsible for the promotion and implementation of client’s HSE policies.
• Ensure all material and equipment documentation and certification is duplicated and a copy filed and the original sent to the relevant inspection or discipline engineer.
• Take part in, or cooperate with internal or external audit teams
• Maintain all electronic correspondence and documentation in a generic filing .
• Attend . procurement review meetings.
• Carry out regular safety tours and ensure there are no unsafe conditions within the pipeyard/warehouse and pipeyard/warehouse staff practices are safe and under permit where necessary.
• Hold regular tool box talks on the safe manual handling and stowage of items within the pipeyard/warehouse and external storage areas
