 Ensure compliance of quality requirement as per the ITP.
 Implementation and Supervision of sub-contractors quality plans
 Monitoring the quality of all Construction activities and witnessing tests/inspections.
 Shall ensure only approved materials are used for Electrical & Instrumentation activities
 Shall ensure all the testing instruments / equipments are calibrated
 Check the work as per approved drawing and specification
 All FOC alignment sheets based on pipeline alignment sheets to be prepared
 Ensuring proper installation of cable
 Verifying proper insulation test
 Confirming adherence to wiring diagram for termination of cables
 Ensuring tight cable connections (no loose contacts) in electrical equipments
 Ensuring proper earthing of electrical equipments such as LV Switchboard, DBs, Control panels, DC UPS, Lighting Poles and Lighting Fixtures etc.
 shall be responsible for all activities related to functional loop checking and Implementation related to instrument installation activities.
 shall be responsible for quality control / documentation & for co- ordination with Company to witness all Electrical & Instrumentation activities and inspections.
 Shall be responsible for controlling the calibration records of test instruments

Ø    NDT request shall be given for visually accepted butt joints

Ø    Shall issue the weld repair joints to repair crew for attending repair weld

Ø    Shall issue the coating clearance to coating foreman after confirming all the Non

Destructive Tests of weld joints are completed.

 Recording and reporting quality activities
 Follow up of corrective & preventive actions
 Assist the QA/QC Manager with Quality related matters.
 Up-date & Maintain Quality records as required.
 Submit monthly report to the GM-Quality at HO (Quality-MIS).
 Shall be responsible for the preparation of Pipe book (Weld book)
 Maintaining records of calibration of inspection and test equipment

 Monitoring the quality of all Construction activities and witnessing tests/inspections.
 Ensure compliance of quality requirement as per the ITP.
 Ensure no welders shall work on any phase of the pipeline unless he has been tested
 and approved by the COMPANY.
 Welding parameters shall be monitored during production welding and repair welding.
 Responsible for overall control of welding at site and for the implementation of approved
 procedure.
 Updated WPS register and qualified and approved welders list shall be available with
 the welding inspector.
 Generate daily welding inspection reports and NDT request shall be given for visually
 accepted butt joints.
 Explain to welding foreman and all other persons involved in welding of the detailed
 operations to be done during various phases of activity.
 Coordinate, Prepare and submit "Test Pack" for hydro testing & others.

Ø    Co-ordinate the Preparation & Submittal of Procedures/Method Statements/ITP, etc.

Ø    Liaison with COMPANY QA/QC Personnel

Ø    Assist the Project in Quality related matters.

Ø    Maintain Quality Records as required.

Ø    Prepare internal and external audit schedule and arrange the audits accordingly.

Ø    Ensure and liquidate the internal and external Non-conformities and take CA/PA.

Ø    Co-ordinate Third Party & Company Inspection activities.

Ø    Update all Quality System records. Submit monthly report to the GM-Quality at HO.

Ø  Responsible and Maintaining Engineering, Vendor, Technical, Non Technical Project Deliverables (Receive, storage, retrieval and distribution)

Ø  Establish and Controlling Document Flow for review between Client and Vendor

Ø  Establish and Maintaining Tracking system for Project Deliverables (Clients, Vendor, Internal.)

Ø  Establish and Maintaining Reporting System to Management / Project Control Manager

 Engineering and Vendor Deliverable status as per  requirement.

Ø  Controlling Project Construction Drawings/Documents distribution as per Project distribution matrix and Superseded Drawings/Documents Control.

Ø  Preparation of Final Dossier- Handover to Client / Project Operation Team as per Client Specification.

Ø  Providing necessary Training and guidance for Junior Staff
